During the summer of 2011, the Lawrenceville School archives was transformed thanks to a gift from John Stephan, Lawrenceville Class of 1959, and his wife, Barbara. Renovations included new, state-of-the-art climate controlled storage, a reading room large enough to accommodate classes, technology improvements and dedicated exhibit space. To see pictures and posts documenting the physical renovation, please see the Lawrenceville Archives Renovation Blog.
The gift also includes support of archives staff positions, money for digitization of highly used collections, and funds to support student and faculty use of archives materials in researching the history of the Lawrenceville School and historically significant Lawrentians.
